Version 2.82 of the file lisp/loaddefs.el in the CVS
repository does not contain autoloads of help-fns.el.
This causes bootstrapping to fail. Until that file is updated, try
doing this
rm lisp/loaddefs.el cvs update -r 2.81 loaddefs.el
before running configure and make bootstrap.
