MyJazzBand will run in "demo mode" before a license code is entered into it. In "demo mode" all functionalities are enabled as in the registered version except the following.

• File > Save and File > Save As... are disabled, and
• Song > Play and Song > Generate MIDI File... can only be invoked a total of three times every time MyJazzBand is launched.

To enter a license key, choose MyJazzBand > Register... and type in the name, Email address, and license key as they appear in the Email you received when you purchased it. These three pieces of information are cryptographically tied to one another so they must be entered exactly. The license key contains eight groups of five capital letters and digits, separated by hyphens.

After the registration information has been entered, quit MyJazzBand and re-launch it to run it as a registered version.

The registration information is stored in the preferences file

  ~/Library/Preferences/ca.sixthhappiness.MyJazzBand.plist

If you need to run MyJazzBand on another computer, you can enter the registration information again as described above, or copy the preferences file to the new computer.
