America. Large scarlet single flowers. Tightly bunched golden stamens. Yellow green carpels and white stigmas. Gold Medal, American Peony Society 1992.

Scarlet red single flowers. Golden stamens; light green carpels and pink stigmas. Notice side buds, which extend flowering period. Pretty, aren’t they?
Dwarf Arctic Iris

This is my dwarf arctic iris. About 10" in height and spread. Small lavender-blue flowers with three-petals. White and light yellow veins. Very cold tolerant (native to Siberia and Alaska). Hardy to -45°C!
